Do you want to become more involved with the Wolves 1877 Trust?

The Wolves 1877 Trust is a community benefit society, not-for-profit organisation, registered with the Financial Conduct Authority, and an affiliate member of the Football Supporters' Association.

We are the largest independent democratic group of Wolves supporters; we have representation on the club’s Fan Advisory Board and all associated fan engagement groups.

On Thursday 19th June, Wolves 1877 Trust will hold its Annual General Meeting (AGM) at the Emerald Club, Wolverhampton.

The AGM is where the Trust elects board members. The AGM doesn't elect members to specific roles on the board; at the next board meeting, a few weeks after the AGM, specific roles are allocated. The main roles on the Trust Board are the following:

Chair and Fan Advisory Board Member -  Daniel Warren
Vice Chair and Football Supporters' Association Rep - Ciaran Barker
Secretary- Anne Bott
Treasurer - Keith Bickley
Governance - Chris Humphries
Membership - Peter Bradburn
Website - Sophie Wade
Women's Team Rep - Nick Andrews-Gauvin

The Trust Board can consist of up to 12 people, and we currently have 2 people co-opted to support the Trust with specific projects; Neil Dady and James Stibbs are supporting the Trust with content creation.

The Trust board currently meets every 4-6 weeks. It can meet more often if there are urgent items for discussion, such as last year's Season Ticket Price increase.

We need more members to join the board and help support the Trust's work.  The more people that get involved with the board, the better. The Trust holds 4 member meetings and 5-6  board meetings a year, you don't have to be based in Wolverhampton to join the board. Every board and members' meeting provides the opportunity to meet online; presently, we have board members from Cambridgeshire and Sussex.

We are especially looking for members to join the board who can help support the Trust in the following areas:

* Content Creation

* Equality and Diversity

* Marketing and Design

However, if you would like to join the board and have other skills to contribute, please feel free to get in touch.

If you would like to apply or need more information, please contact the secretary, Anne Bott, at secretary@wolves1877trust.co.uk

To stand for election to the board, you need to be a fully paid Trust member, complete an application form (available from the Secretary) with a short statement of why you want to join the board, and receive nominations from two paid Trust members (If you don't know another member, please get in touch, and we will be able to help).

Details of how to join the Trust can be found here: https://www.wolves1877trust.co.uk/membership
