Phil ‘Lofty’ Parkes – supporting ‘one of our own’
Trust members wish Phil all the best in his recovery after a serious fall at home; we hope that through the club, supporters, Former Players’ Association, and the wider football community, we can help raise much-needed funds to make Phil as comfortable as possible. Phil won’t be able to walk again as a result of his injuries.

We recognise and thank Trust member and fundraiser, Jason Guy, for the work he has done so far in generating support for Phil.
Phil set a Wolves record by playing 127 consecutive league games during the 1971–72 and 1972–73 seasons.
Phil then went on to make 382 appearances for Wolves before ending his career in the North American league with Vancouver Whitecaps.
Phil is one of the club’s greatest ever goalkeepers; he is one of our own, and at times like this we know the Wolves family will pull together.
One pack – one of our own.
