Wolves 1877 Trust: objectives 2025/26

Following the trust AGM the new board has agreed the following key objectives:

  • The Trust will seek to maintain a positive dialogue with the club, communicating issues that concern members, and the wider fan base. We value the open, honest and amicable relationship we have established but will not hesitate to challenge the club if we believe any proposed actions would be detrimental to trust members, and the wider Wolves fan community.

  • Fan Advisory Board – to continue to play an active role within the FAB, to push for increased consultation as required under the Premier League fan engagement standard, and to seek increased wider fan base awareness of the FAB.

  • Fan Focus Groups – to continue to play an active role within each club established Fan Focus Group. To challenge the club on the frequency and subject matter of meetings, promote increased wider fan consultation by the club through these Fan Focus Groups, and to seek wider fan base awareness of Fan Focus Groups.

  • Trust Membership – to seek ways in which membership can be increased, to improve communications with existing members, promote increased member consultation and to seek wider fan base awareness of the Trust.

  • Trust partners and associates – to seek to grow the number of trust partners and associates, raising awareness of the Trust to other supporter groups and seeking sponsorship from local partners.

  • Trust Website – to review the website, introduce improvements to user experience and to increase the range and quantity of published articles.

  • Social Media – to review current content creation and publication to bring a unified, consistent approach to communications across all platforms.

  • Policing – to become an active member of the West Midlands Police Football Advisory Group and to communicate to members matters arising.

  • National – to engage with the Football Supporters’ Association on matters relating nationally within the wider football family, to bring to members details of national campaigns and promote the support of such campaigns across our communication platforms.

  • Diversity and inclusion – to take positive actions to promote membership of the Trust to diverse supporter groups and take actions to increase inclusivity within the Trust board and wider supporter consultation groups.
