Protect the fans, protect the game

Wolves 1877 Trust, alongside the Fan Advisory Board and other Wolves supporters groups are signatories to a statement that has been sent to the Premier League and all clubs.

The statement is part of the Football Supporters’ Associations ongoing #stopexploitingloyalty campaign and focuses on calling for a two year halt in ticket price increases.

Under the banner headline ‘‘Protect the fans, protect the game’’ the statement includes:

‘‘Home ticket pricing – Time to halt the increases - We, supporter organisations and Fan Advisory Board (FAB) representatives from Premier League clubs, are writing to you about the serious issue of rising costs in football and the impact this is having on supporters. We are deeply concerned by the continuing trend of rising home ticket prices across the Premier League. These increases risk pricing out the very people who make the game what it is. We are calling on all Premier League clubs to agree to a two-season halt on home ticket price increases for the 2026/27 and 2027/28 seasons.’’

The Trust has forwarded this statement to the club, we will also be supporting the nationwide campaign as it develops over the coming months.

The issue of ticketing, access and protecting the match going football community is one that affects us all, you can download the FSA’s leaflet about the campaign here.
