Welcome Julen

Wolves 1877 Trust welcomes the appointment of Julen Lopetegui to Molineux; after a terrible start to the season, compounded by some bizarre transfer activity in the summer, it is encouraging that the club has finally got their preferred choice over the line.

Lopetegui’s record speaks for itself and his experience, at the top level, is much needed at Molineux where football-related leadership, and direction, have been sadly lacking in recent months.

The Trust urges the club to back our new ‘head coach’ with sufficient funds in the January transfer window to stave off relegation and build for the future.

Whilst we welcome this managerial appointment the long-term direction of the club is still a concern for fans.
